2nd – 4th July 2007, Budapest, Hungary
The purpose of the conference is bringing together scientists, engineers and members of public institutions to present the current state-of-the-art on biomass co-firing and to discuss future trends and directions in order to promote awareness of this technology as a sustainable energy supply, which could decrease the dependency on fossil fuels and guarantee a decentralised source of energy in Europe.
The first Conference of the European Biomass Co-firing Network will be the perfect occasion for sharing the latest findings in biomass co-firing and building strong and durable links between the different actors involved in research and development in this field.
The conference is supported by the Integrated European Network for Biomass Co-firing (NETBIOCOF). The NETBIOCOF consortium is a group of 25 partners from 19 different European nations covering all the different stages in the process chain of biomass co-firing. NETBIOCOF is a Coordinated Action funded by the European Union under the Sixth Framework Programme.

We look forward to seeing you in Budapest in July 2007!
